Sleep coaching allows me to combine my passion for education with supporting families on their journey to healthy sleep habits.

As a sleep coach, I have the pleasure of guiding families to teach their children healthy sleep habits. This promotes little ones to fall asleep quicker, stay asleep longer, as well as put themselves hack to sleep when they wake during the night. Restorative sleep is vital to children’s development and overall well-being.

  • “Alana is an absolute Angel!! I was so intimidated to start this process and was actually dreading it. However, the only thing I can say is that I wish I did it sooner. My son has been a terrible sleeper for 12 months, he ended up co-sleeping, nursing 8 times a night, waking every 40 minutes I was exhausted. I couldn’t do it anymore, within 3 DAYS!!!! He was sleeping in his own crib for 12 hours a night!!! When he did wake up, he was able to settle himself back to sleep without me needing to go back in.   • "We used Alana's services to sleep train our 3-year-old. He had just transitioned to a crib and would resist bedtime, use screen time before bed, and require a parent with him to fall asleep. In the middle of the night, he would come to our room and sleep in our bed. Co-sleeping was horrible as he would use our bodies as human pillows! We were all exhausted!

    After 10 days, everything changed. We implemented the routine and fade away method and what used to take an hour, is now only a 20-minute process. She is kind, understanding, such a great listener and she was extremely accommodating when we needed to communicate. She put together the perfect plan for our girls; two plans that we were comfortable with! She worked with us to sleep train both our 4-month-old and our 4.5 year old. Our oldest went from only being able to fall asleep with one of us beside her (which took over an hour) to confidently lying down and falling asleep on her own with no one in her room (her bedtime routine is now a short 30-40 minutes!). This was such a big deal for us, especially with a newborn! Our 4-month-old doesn’t wake at all during the night, if she does the odd time she is quiet and content. She is capable and willing to soothe herself back to sleep. It’s incredible. Sleep training our daughters would not have been possible without Alana coaching us! We would HIGHLY recommend her!
